LOVE THIS! Beauty products that make traveling a treat!
LOVE IT NOW BECAUSE: While traveling might be stressful, your in-flight beauty routine doesn’t have to be!
Combo products. Two-in-one products are a must while traveling, which is why I love Votre Vu Duette Luxe Lip Balm & Hand Crème ($39). With this one product, you can get soft, supple lips and dewy, delicate hands in no time. And it smells downright tropical with its subtle scent of almond and coconut!
Sunscreen Towlettes. The ease and convenience of sunscreen wipes, like La Fresh Travel Lite SPF 30 Sunscreen Wipes ($39.95), apply sunscreen quickly and evenly, without mess or nuisance. Keep a few in your bag so you always have them on hand when traveling.
Sleep Mask. Sleep anywhere, anytime, with Daily Concepts Sleep Mask ($12). This soft, comfortable, contoured and lightweight mask blacks-out even the brightest airplane or hotel room, and can also be your best friend when you’re a passenger on road trips.
Beauty Elixir. Yes, that’s really what this is called – and what it does. Caudalie Beauty Elixir ($18 for the perfect travel size) is a part-toner, part-serum mist of essential oils and plant active ingredients. Applied before moisturizer, it smoothes the skin, tightens the pores and stimulates microcirculation. And it can actually revive your complexion! After hours of sitting on a plane, spritz this a few times on your face for an instant boost of radiance and dewiness, before the wheels even touch the ground.
Travel candles. While this doesn’t seem to be a “beauty” product, it truly is! We look more beautiful and fresh, when we feel comfortable in our hotel room or vacation rental. And nothing makes a strange and sterile hotel room feel like home as quickly as a candle in your favorite scent! Choose a travel candle in a tin such as Seda France Classic Toile Travel Tin Candles ($9.95), rather than glass for easy packing and no breakage.
Moll’s Bag of Tricks: As much as I rely on all of these products while traveling, nothing will perk my skin up like proper hydration. Drink a big bottle of water, prior to security, 2 big bottles of water on the plane, and 1 big bottle of water as soon as you land. Cabin pressure is so dehydrating, but ingesting a constant flow of fluids will keep you properly hydrated. Another tip? Don’t forget the big sunglasses for the fastest way to look chic – even when you’re sleepy!
